The actor went through an intense exercise routine to play the character, but received criticism from his wife.
Chris Hemsworth, best known for playing Marvel’s Thor, has revealed that he received criticism from his wife, Elsa Pataky, for her toned body in the latest film.
“She complained and said, ‘That’s far from it.’ A lot of friends celebrated, but my friends and family said ‘credo.'”
The actor’s transformation came during Australia’s pandemic-induced lockdown. Swim, lift weights, practice martial arts, and eat up to 6,000 calories a day. “I was bored, it was like a prison,” he remembers.
However, filming the new movie High in the Mountains was an even worse experience for the actor.
“It’s one thing to train and eat all this stuff, and then sleep all day. It’s different to follow that routine and then spend 12 hours on set. It was horrible. I’m not going to do that again. Next time, could you give me an outfit that fill the muscles. Enough, “he said.

Actor Chris Hemsworth has said that he doesn’t want to give up his role as Thor any time soon. In an interview with Deadline, during the premiere of Thor: Love and Thunder, the interpreter of the protagonist revealed when he would stop starring in movies.
“I will continue in this role until I am fired, until someone forces me off the stage,” he said.
In the new article by him, Thor must have gone through a mid-life crisis over 1500 years ago. On his journey of self-discovery, he will meet other gods, meet his lover, and also meet a new deadly enemy: Gore.
The film stars Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Chris Pratt, Jaimie Alexander, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Jeff Goldblum and Vin Diesel and opens in theaters on July 7.
