Thousands of blooms in the brilliant colors of pink, purple, blue, orange and yellow greeted visitors to Hudson Yards in Manhattan in New York City for the Fleurs de Villes FEMMES flower show.
“We are thrilled to be back here for our third show at Hudson Yards. Barclay said the floral talent featured in each show of these iconic flower-wearing female models was designed and constructed by a local New York florist.

Polycarp Flowers owner and floral designer Daica Skrobala said that more than 700 flowers have been used to decorate Fanny Brice’s floral compositions.

Skrupala said his team used his imagination to bring the design to life.
“We used a lot of plants, fresh flowers on the skirt, roses, carnations and airbrush roses,” he said. “We have orchids there because it gives them a different texture and it doesn’t look as flat if it’s just roses.”
Barclay said that every important moment in life is celebrated with flowers, happy or sad.
“It doesn’t matter what your income level is, where you come from, what language you speak. Flowers transcend all of that.”
